For more information regarding a potential career with our organization as an Executive Recruiter, please read the following page in its entirety.
Fortune Magazine consistently ranks Executive Recruiting in the top 10 most “lucrative” professions in the U.S. An Executive Recruiter, affectionately known as a “Headhunter”, develops relationships with very interesting and talented people, both candidates looking for a new career opportunity and employers seeking those candidates. They achieve the personal satisfaction that comes from positively impacting a candidate´s career, family and quality of life. It is an awesome responsibility. And best of all we get paid for doing it.
MRINetwork is the largest executive search organization in the world. Visit our corporate website at www.mrinetwork.com. MRINetwork pioneered the executive recruitment industry and we have the training and support to launch a successful career in this industry. MRI The Boston Group is consistently seeking talented, strongly motivated individuals who would like to stop working to build someone else´s dream and start building their own. Entrepreneurial individuals who are interested in building their own “future” based on their own efforts and reputation. People who want to be solely in control of their own income and earning potential and who understand that a commission driven opportunity puts them in full control of their financial future.
How about an example? Nationwide, the top 50% of our successful recruiters – with more than 12 months experience – earned an average income of over $145,000. Even the top 50% of our first year Account Executives (“Rookies”) earned an average of $70,000.
Now for the fine print: It takes at least several months to build your skills and relationships (depends on your interpersonal communication skills and your motivation) to where it can start being profitable and so first year earnings are usually back end loaded. Not everyone who enters this career is successful. In fact more fail than succeed. Why? Success is entirely in your own motivation and efforts applying the skills you need for success: CONFIDENCE – THE ABILITY TO BUILD PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS OVER A TELEPHONE and SELF–MOTIVATION TO STAY ON THAT PHONE. Your success is tied directly to the amount of time you spend talking to client companies and potential candidates on the phone. If you fear making “cold” telephone calls or spending at least 3 hours on average each day doing it stop reading now!
Now if you succeed in building your client and candidate base, the only limit to your success and income potential is your own personal drive and motivation.
We seek to hire professionals who can learn fast and contribute to both their own personal growth and our office´s growth. Using the telephone, email and your communication skills, you will be accountable for networking and establishing long–term relationships with client companies and candidates. The key function of an Account Executive however is developing new client company relationships. The Account Executive works for his client companies to search and fill critical positions and to convert that client into a long-term key account through your integrity, performance and communications relationship.
More fine print: This is a sales opportunity, mostly straight commission (but starting at 30% and rapidly growing to 50%), and no travel unless of course you win contests and no weekends. The requirements for your success are excellent communication skills – written and oral, that inner drive to excel financially, the ability to learn quickly and an extroverted, people oriented, relationship driven personality.
Be money motivated. If you are looking for a safe place to come in out of your current rain, buy an umbrella. Do your homework on this industry and decide if you think it might be for you, then respond.
If you are serious about considering a professional recruiting career and would like to learn more about it, we would be happy to talk to you. Stop working to build someone else´s dream and start building your own.
We do not offer relocation so if you are not already in walking, driving or public transportation distance of one of our five locations (Boston, Springfield and Westborough, MA and Bedford, NH and Providence, RI), try contacting another MRINetwork office near you; we have over 850 Nationwide.
